|Title||Current Status of the Eco-Friendly Construction Materials and Certification System|
- The Ministry of Environment has enforced the "Indoor Air Quality Control in Public-Use Facilities, etc. Act ("Act")" since March 2014
with the aim of establishing a legal system that stipulates the requirements for the maintenance and management of healthy indoor air.
- Furthermore, the Act aims to indirectly encourage the use of eco-friendly construction materials by establishing the pollutant release
grades of construction materials by means of the adoption of an eco-friendly constructions certification system and an eco-friendly
construction material certification system, thus preventing the harm of sick house syndrome to the public.
