Veolia Australia and New Zealand has completed a buyout of its joint venture with Cleanaway Waste Management, acquiring full ownership of Western Resource Recovery Pty Ltd (WRR) and Total Waste Management Pty Ltd (TWM).
Western Resource Recovery Pty Ltd and its treatment arm – Total Waste Management Pty Ltd – was established in 2000 as a joint venture between Veolia and Cleanaway Waste Management.
Veolia explained that WRR and TWM has a large operational footprint spanning Perth to Karratha and provides waste management services to 3500 retail and industrial customers.
Clay South, Acting Group General Manager - Western Australia said, “Veolia is pleased to have completed the purchase and become the sole operator of two well-established local businesses, which offers a combination of trustworthiness and reliability for our existing customers.”
