|Title||Development of Climate-change Health Impact Assessment and Adaptation Technologies|
1. Purpose of Research
-The goal of the Research Group on Health Impact Assessment & Adaptation Technologies of Climate Change is to provide a system called ‘C-CHAMP
(Climate-Change Adaptation & Mitigation Program)’ as a practical means of technique infrastructure to support policy decision-making for climate change
adaptation in the health sector. As part of the ‘Total project’, we developed health impact prediction and assessment techniques to study extreme weathers
(heatwave, coldwave, typhoon and heavy rain), ozone and UV-rays, and also collected and developed adaptation technologies to establish a policy support system. Through this, we seek to promote more effective and efficient implementation of climate change adaptation measures.
