1. Purpose of Research
- The amount of glycerol additionally produced has greatly increased recently and turned into waste according as the new renewable energy bio-diesel is used mixing with transport fuel compulsorily. This also influences the economy of bio-diesel. Therefore, glycerol needs to convert to high added value.
- This research aims at overcoming the problems which existing synthetic method has in converting the low-end crude glycerol, by-product of bio-diesel and manufacturing the glycidol with high added value, and developing eco-friendly process technology for developing eco-friendly and economical technology and using as source material for eco-friendly plasticizer.
