1. Purpose of Research
- The purpose of this study is to interpret outflow and basin characteristics of the nonpoint source pollution. It uses the monitoring data to assess the impact of the development activities and to device an efficient monitoring method to characterize nonpoint source pollution. Similarly, this study also develops an automatic monitoring system to characterize flow and pollutant sources. It also addresses the development of statistical methodology for source identification of non-point pollutants discharged from a mixed land use catchment during storm events.
