Swiss science and technology consultancy The Innovation Society is piloting a website that will help companies operating in Switzerland access information about synthetic nanomaterials.
The pilot, which will last two years, will gather and classify the existing scientific, industrial and regulatory knowledge and put it in one place. It will provide users with access to experts, organise training, and act as an information-sharing portal.
It is funded by the Swiss State Secretariat for Education, Research and Innovation, and supported by the Federal Office of Public Health and the Federal Office for the Environment.
Earlier this month, Echa updated its EU observatory for nanomaterials (EUON) by adding two searchable databases.
